About
Built by one person who actually runs this stuff
Packet Den is me — Jord. I build and manage practical private infrastructure for small businesses that want control without becoming a full-time sysadmin.
The short version
I have been running production phone systems, mail servers, automation stacks, and self-hosted tools for years — for my own projects and for clients. Packet Den is the distilled version of that: a repeatable way to give a small business reliable infrastructure without locking them into a platform that makes leaving painful.
I do not meet clients in person. Everything is remote, documented, and portable. If we work together, you own your domain and your data. I maintain the system and make sure you can understand it.
The zero-knowledge thing
Architecturally, I cannot see your data. Your email, your call recordings, your passwords — they live on infrastructure you control access to. I manage the servers and the configs, but I design the stack so that even I cannot browse your files without your explicit sign-off.
This is not a marketing angle. It is a design constraint. It means Packet Den has no data to leak, no customer database to get hacked, and no incentive to lock you in.
Canadian hosting, private network
When possible, infrastructure stays in Canada (OVH, Hetzner, or providers the customer prefers). Every customer gets a private Tailscale or Headscale tailnet — so SSH, admin dashboards, and internal tools are never exposed to the public internet.
Why "Packet Den"?
A den is a small, private space where things are kept safe. Packets are the units of data moving across a network. Packet Den is where your data lives securely — boring, reliable, and yours.
